Razzle Dazzle Follies

The Razzle
Dazzle Follies was held Friday, June 23, 2006 at Blue
Valley North High School's Performing Arts Center in Overland Park.
Don Davidson
was the producer and MC of this variety show that featured sixteen individual or
group acts who donated their time to this fundraising event. The show was
directed by Gerald E. Snider, PH.D. who has been active in the Kansas City arts
community for forty years. The show was a success with about four hundred in
attendance. Those who performed were: "mister
Ahs," (Brent Ahsmuhs) award-winning magician;
Mary Margaret Archer, performed for 10 years on the cabaret and nightclub
circuit throughout the U.S.;
Louis Bar, winner of 4 national dance titles and placed 4th in the world;
Annie Cretsinger, toured Europe with the
Continental Singers; Kingsford (King) David, traveled nationally with gospel quartet;
Kevo the Klown, (Kevin Emerson) clowned around during the
performance and intermission;
Krista Eyler, former TV reporter now lead
actor/singer; Andi Fredrickson, has sung at Carnegie Hall,
Canterbury Cathedral and Oxford University;
Ray Hildebrand, nationally known singer who recorded Hey, Paula back in the 60s;
Brenda Hoff, played the harp during intermission;
Miami County Cloggers, Platinum
award-winning group of dancers;
Kelly Sisney, comedienne with
national performance credits;
Fonda Telthorst, marvelous gospel
singer; Katherine Viviano, the next Shirley
Temple;
Jerry Viviano, Olympic torch carrier through Kansas City and creator of the
Viviano Variety Show;
4's Company, (Diana Duff, Kimi Ruder, Pat
Duncan and Cindy Orzel) a highly popular women’s quartet; and
The Apostrophes, (Steve Hoog, Kevin Kelly, John Tamilio) were the
highly versatile house band.
