IHN's First Auction - Friday, March 30, 2012
Board member Don Davidson is seeking someone with experience managing or working on charity auctions to lead a volunteer team working this new event. The popular Nigro Brothers will serve as pro-bono auctioneers. Even if you lack auction experience but want to help out, Don is interested in hearing from you. The March 30 auction is the third in a series of new fundraisers developed by our Development Committee to strengthen IHN's ability to empower Johnson County's homeless families. SAVE LABELS for CASH - "Best Choice" brand ($210 raised in 2010)
UPC labels from "Best Choice" brand items are worth 3 cents each to benefit JoCoIHN. Grocery stores carrying "Best Choice" products include: Price Chopper, Hen House, Apple Market, Thriftway, Country Mart, Sun Fresh and many independents. Collect your labels and drop them at the IHN display at your house of worship or the IHN Family Center. It's an easy way to give without spending any extra money!

	November 2011 - Great “Inside” Out Race Run/Walk 5K and 1 mile events, outside or inside! - Ten Thousand Villages percentage of sales Nov. 13 - Holiday Bazaar at Overland Park Christian Church, Nov. 19
	September 2011 - 5th Annual IHN Golf Tournament Raises over $36,000 Thanks to Larry Cook, Suzanne Hicks, all golfers, countless volunteers and abundant sponsors!
	November 2010 - "Hospitality Rock II" Hosted by Kathy Keary and Holy Cross Catholic Church, it was a great night of dinner, rock and roll from yesteryear, and a silent auction. A big success!
	September 2010 - 4th Annual IHN Golf Tournament Over $34,000 raised for IHN. Thanks to everyone!
	Summer 2010 - 2nd annual Lobster Sale Hosted by St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, with much thanks to Donna Fye, this event brought in over $800! - First ever Furniture Sale brought in $2,680! Much thanks to Olathe Bible Church for arranging for the sale space and coverage of utility costs. The operation of the sale was a collaborative effort of the IHN Development Committee, with assistance from Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. - Car Wash & Donation Collection Thank you to Steve Myers for hosting a car wash and a month of donation collection at the Sonic in Peculiar, MO!
	Fall 2009 - Multiple Events Raise $800 Thanks to Chili's, Macy's, and Ten Thousand Villages for sharing with IHN!
	September 2009 - 3rd Annual IHN Golf Tournament Raises $30,000 Thanks to Lucky Hicks, Larry Cook, Suzanne Hicks, all golfers, countless volunteers and abundant sponsors!
	June 2009 - Fresh Lobster Sale This event was sponsored by St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church with all proceeds (about $900) supporting IHN!
	November 2008 - Bingo Party Sponsored by Holy Cross Catholic Church and Hillcrest Covenant Church - Thanks to everyone who made this a big success.
	October 2008 - 2nd Annual IHN Golf Tournament Raises $30,000 Thanks to Lucky Hicks, Larry Cook, Suzanne Hicks, 140 golfers, all volunteers and sponsors!
	September 2008 - St. Andrew Christian Church musical event nets $520.25 for IHN We want to thank the staff and congregation at St. Andrew Christian Church for hosting the Cafe Salvador musical event to benefit IHN.
	July 2008 - Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church Rummage Sale nets $3262.50 for IHN Thanks to all who planned and worked at the sale and all who bought items there. We appreciate the donation very much.
	September 2007 - 1st Annual IHN Golf Tournament Raises $9,000 Our first annual IHN golf tournament such a huge success with 86 golfers! Special thanks to Larry Cook, Lucky Hicks, Jane Knoche, Don Davidson, Karen Clond, Don Severson, Linda Stinnett, David Greenlee, Dola McNown AND the amazing women and special helpers.
	June 2007 - Hospitality Rock Event Raises over $12,000 for IHN Our thanks to "The Priest Band" and "The Ordinaires" for performing for an IHN fund-raiser on June 22. Also, many thanks to Kathy Keary, IHN Primary Coordinator for Holy Cross Catholic Church, for organizing this event.
	June 2006 - Razzle Dazzle Follies This variety show featured 18 performances by award-winning entertainers who donated their talents to raise over $10,000 to help JoCoIHN continue our ministry to homeless families. Click here for the story.
